Typedef to change the name shared_ptr?

Hello, Is there some way I can abbreviate the name shared_ptr? I make extensive use of it, and my code tends to be ugly... vector v; would be much better than vector v; is something like typedef shared_ptr p; possible? Thanks, Maurizio
