Hello,
Is it possible to create a shared memory file using Boost Interprocess (with STL containers) and distribute it to several machines for reading and modifying independently?
All compilers used to compile programs that will modify the file must implement the same ABI. E.g.: If all your machines use the same OS and GCC version executed in the same address model (32 bit), then yes. Otherwise, you need to carefully check your compilers. Ion
