FYI, the following piece of code is an excerpt from boost/type_traits/composite_traits.hpp (boost version 1_27_0). Using sun's CC (Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 C++ 5.3. Patch 111685-05 2002/02/03) and debug on (-g), it fails compilation with the following message
