Boost Newbie: Boost Libraries not included ..... Linker Error
Hi, Im a newbie in C++ just barely getting to grips with the Boost Libraries. I had built the Boost Libraries and was expecting that the sample simple_ls program to work. Unfortunately as I compiled it I had received a million plus errors due to the Linker Error. Please tell me whats wrong???????????? P.S. The Library folder for Boost is Empty and I includeded the Boost Include Directory in the gcc path. Yes.... the boost filesystem is one of the few parts of boost that actually _needs_ libraries. You will need to build them yourself. Follow the "getting started" link from www.boost.org which should take you to: http://www.boost.org/more/getting_started.html At Friday 2004-02-20 07:03, you wrote:
