See the GNU Multi-Precision library (GMP) <http://www.swox.com/gmp/> I have not used it, so I cannot really speak to it. I am merely aware of its existence and thought I'd point it out. FWIW google("gnu", "gmp") --> 1,050,000 hits. Michael Drumheller
