Is there a way to work with boost's smart pointers , for memory allocated by a memory manager ?

The smart pointer aren't actually responsible for allocation the memory. One option is overloading operator new and delete in the right way. If've done that and we use the smart pointers in conjuction with boost::pool. hope this helps. alex
