RE: [Boost-users] Generic Class Factory
I have been looking at Andre Alexandrescu's book Modern C++ Design. He has the Loki library in there. That has all of the pieces that are needed. Does anyone know of any issue with mixing Boost, ATL and Loki? A side question is has anyone looked at merging the Loki library into the Boost library. It seems like a really great fit as the Loki library deals with a different set of problems. I have to create a class factory and was looking for a generic class factory that I could work with. I looked in the boost documentation but didn't find anything. Is there something there that I am missing or do I need to roll my own?
Depending on your needs, map< string, function< shared_ptr<Base>() > > may suffice. _______________________________________________ Boost-users mailing list Boost-users@lists.boost.org http://lists.boost.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/boost-users
