Please could someone advise how to install multiple releases of the Boost libraries on a Linux (Ubuntu & Debian) system and set the system paths to permit switching between them; so that a compiler refers to the desired version and the relevant runtime components are available to an application; e.g. the .so file for boost serialization. Thanks.
