I am too, for all the reasons you mentioned in the above, but I have already had that discussion (on this list), so I prefer to limit my point to the single thing that really matters in performance terms (the biggest performance improvements will come from having move semantics everywhere) and then let the maintainers worry about supporting all that old stuff.
