That is not quite true for Borland. It was about average in its conformance

in the past; the problem is that all other compilers have significantly increased their conformance, whereas Borland has basically stood still.

Nevertheless, I still try to not break things under Borland, but that's kind

of hard because we don't even have a Borland tester. (And there isn't - to my knowledge - a free version.)

I will gladly be your tester ! The download link currently is http://altd.embarcadero.com/download/bcppbuilder/freecommandLinetools.exe (8.5 MB). I (modestly) admit it has a few flaws that require a few patches to the RTL and shipped version of STL. I will try to upload those patches somewhere !
