For users of Boost+CMake, FindBoost.cmake will always be inferior to a BoostConfig.cmake generated by b2 and provided by Boost itself. Such a file would encode any and all information about the build of boost, and you would report errors at cmake time instead of link time. http://www.cmake.org/cmake/help/v3.0/manual/cmake-packages.7.html As they are just text, b2 can generate them.
