That depends what you mean. It happens rarely so it's not clear if it's going well or not.
The point is the when things go well you don't notice. Since you mentioned Stephen Kelly as an example of when things go wrong; I checked in some of his changes, dealt with the release notes, replied to people who were worried about them etc. You noticed what went wrong, but you didn't notice what went well.
