As a suggestion, we could generate differently named .pc files, similar to how we mangle binary names. When Boost is packaged though, it is typically compiled in just one configuration, so a single set of binaries is packaged and then installed in the end user system. In this scenario there is no need for name mangling, neither for binaries nor for .pc files.
