I’ve put up a set of procedures for the Boost Community Maintenance Team (CMT) on the wiki at: https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/wiki/CommunityMaintenance
Comments welcomed.

Thank you I think his is a very good idea. 'The Boost Community Maintenance team (CMT) was created in January 2013 to provide maintenance for libraries where the author is unable to provide it. ' I assume you mean 2014. I am a new maitainer - I have just started on Boost Phoenix - and I am willing to play a part in this. I think I am very lucky to have come in just after the change to git, as I am already familiar with it, and more so now. I am very willing to share some of my experience of learning the job, with help from Eric Niebler and Joel de Guzman. Thank you again John Fletcher P.S. Rereading my own message, I was not commiting Eric and Joel to do anything, just saying that they had helped me. I must be more careful of my English!!
