Although CMake can build VS-solutions, I don't think that boost should go this way. Having solutions with multiple projects (and boost will have many), is a night-mare, in case one (small) thing needs to be changed in all projects in that solution, good luck, have fun! This is the inherent weakness of the solutions/projects approach of VS, a linux-style approach is needed.
