If your library is only dependent on boost, not any other library like nana then it will be better in most of the beginner programmers. IF your library is pre-compiled then it will catch popularity soon, because "allegro 5" is popular for two reasons :- 1. It is very powerful and vast. 2. It is very very easy to deploy, than SDL and SFML.
