Hi, I was looking at this benchmark https://github.com/mloskot/spatial_index_benchmark https://github.com/mloskot/spatial_index_benchmark which attempts to compare the performance between Boost and LibSpatialIndex. It caught my eye that Boost was magnitudes faster than LibSpatialIndex. Is there an obvious reason for this? Design considerations and trade offs? Thank you :) Regards, Kosen
Correction: You are asking about Boost.Geometry performance, not Boost
in general

Suggestions: 1. use [geometry] in the beginnig of subject line, so it is clear what library is the thread about 2. You may prefer to post your questions to https://lists.boost.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/geometry Best regards, -- Mateusz Loskot, http://mateusz.loskot.net
