[git] Editing the release notes with github.
Hi, Obviously there won't be a release for a little while, but if you want to add anything you can now add changes to the release notes through the github web interface. Go to the quickbook source at: https://github.com/boostorg/website/blob/master/feed/history/boost_1_56_0.qb... And click 'edit' and make your changes. This will create a pull request. Hopefully this will make life a little easier. Although nothing will appear on the site at the moment because the web server is still based on subversion, but I should move it to git soon. Daniel

We also need one or more volunteers to go through the website updating mention of svn to git. I'm guessing that would best wait until the web server is based on git? --Beman

There's no reason to wait. Any changes made will end up on the server eventually.

FWIW I moved the live website over to git last night. The only notable difference should be that the skeleton release notes for the next version are up: http://www.boost.org/users/history/version_1_56_0.html

I've made some changes on the beta site: https://github.com/boostorg/website/commit/9ee14b4898fbc690ded93371fdab0e759... I mostly just removed some things and added links to the wiki, so at least the site won't contain any misleading information.
