Hello! I'm a C++ programmer (Windows 7 platform, Visual Studio) and I'm interested in helping with this project. I've downloaded the latest from the repository and have built the Win32 libraries. Is there anything I can try my hand at to get started? :-) Thanks for any feedback, ...John

Well, you can find the open tickets for your favorite library at: http://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/report/14 You can also find the regression test report here: http://www.boost.org/development/tests/trunk/developer/summary.html There aren't any reviews scheduled in the immediate future: http://www.boost.org/community/review_schedule.html but you can watch this list for announcements. Also, feel free to jump in to any discussion here. In Christ, Steven Watanabe
Thank you, Steven. It looks like a very large list!
Regards,
...John

Hello!
I'm a C++ programmer (Windows 7 platform, Visual Studio)
If you use VS 2010 or VS 2012, you may help with regression testing See, Rene's recent post here: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lib.boost.devel/239684/focus=239697 Best regards, -- Mateusz Loskot, http://mateusz.loskot.net
I would like to do that to get a feel for things. I have VS 2012.
I'm wondering how Boost is organized. I see many sln project files. Is there a Boost.sln that builds all of the libraries?
Thanks!
...John

See the link to instructions on the other thread. Note, it's not an insignificant task to run testing. There's considerable amount of CPU time required and even more diskspace required (in the tens of GiBs) and a good chunk of RAM too. Not that I want to scare anyone.. Just don't want you to be surprised ;-) -- -- -- Grafik - Don't Assume Anything -- Redshift Software, Inc. - http://redshift-software.com -- rrivera/acm.org - grafik/redshift-software.com -- 102708583/icq - grafikrobot/aim - grafikrobot/yahoo
